CUET PG Exam Pattern 2025

CUET PG 2025 Exam Pattern consists of 75 questions and there would be no General Test with each paper. The candidate can choose a General paper as a Subject. The comprehension part of these papers would be in English or Hindi as chosen by the candidate during registration. 

• The CUET PG exam has a total of 75 questions with each question for 4 marks. 
• For each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted.

CUET PG 2025 Key Highlights

The Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2025 is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to postgraduate programs in Central Universities, State Universities, and other participating institutions. The exam is held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode once a year and lasts 90 minutes per subject. 

Key aspects of CUET PG 2025:

• Purpose: To streamline admissions to postgraduate programs across various participating universities. 
• Conducting Body: National Testing Agency (NTA). 
• Mode of Examination: Computer Based Test (CBT). 
• Duration: 90 minutes per subject. 
• Exam Schedule: CUET PG 2025 will be held in 43 shifts from March 13 to April 1, 2025. 
• Application Process: The CUET PG 2025 application form was released by NTA on January 2, 2025. 
• Eligibility: Applicants must have a minimum of 50% marks in their bachelor's or equivalent degree from a recognized university. 
• Fee: The CUET PG 2025 fee has been increased to Rs. 7000. 
• Exam Pattern: The exam now includes a negative marking system and requires candidates to answer every question. 
• Language: The exam is conducted in both Hindi and English. 
• Registration: A total of 6,54,019 candidates registered for CUET PG 2025, with 5,23,032 candidates appearing for the examination. 

The National Testing Agency is conducting the CUET PG 2025 registration process for candidates interested in getting admission in postgraduate-level courses at Central and participating Universities across India. Interested and eligible students can fill and submit the CUET PG registration form 2025 by February 1, 2025. The CUET PG application form is available in online mode at exams.nta.ac.in. As only 9 days remain for CUET PG 2025 registration, students are advised not to wait for the deadline and to fill out the form as soon as possible to ensure they do not miss the last date. 

NTA releases the CUET PG registration statistics along with the result statistics on the official website. Students willing to appear for the CUET PG 2025 exam can check the registration statistics for previous years i.e. academic session 2024 and 2023 from below to know the number of candidates applied V/s number of candidates who appeared for the examination.
