G. Pulla Reddy College of Pharmacy is established in the year 1994-95, sponsored by G. Pulla Reddy Charities Trust, under the chairmanship of Late Shri G. Pulla Reddy garu, a ..Philanthropist, social reformer and well known as Sweet Pulla Reddy. He has promoted several educational institutions under the Trust. The college has turned into silver jubilee year of existence in 2019. During these years, there are many milestones & achievements. New courses have been introduced. Infrastructure expanded, updated & modernized. The students and faculty excelled in various aspects. The college is located in a beautiful campus in Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad. The campus is spread over in 5 acres of land in a calm & quiet natural habitat. Mehdipatnam is well connected to all corners of the city by local bus services. In this campus G. Pulla Reddy High School and G. Pulla Reddy Degree & PG College are also located.

Admission Procedure
B.Pharm & Pharm.D :-
For admission to the professional course like B.Tech, B.Sc (Agri), B.Pharm & Pharm.D , the State Government, conducts an entrance exam called TG EAPCET (formerly known as TS EAMCET)every year in the month of April/May. The students are given ranking based on the marks obtained in the TG EAPCET . Both MPC & BiPC groups are eligible . Admissions are conducted by the Convenor TG EAPCET in a systematic manner by means of web counseling, based on the combined rank obtained in the TG EAPCET (formerly known as TS EAMCET). Thus opportunity is given to the student to choose the course and college. 70% of seats are filled through the TG EAPCET (formerly known as TS EAMCET) rank by the Convenor and 30% seats are filled by the management, based on rank in TS EAPCET or the merit at Intermediate or as per the State government prescribed rules from time to time.
M.Pharm :-
For admissions to the professional course like M.Tech,M.Arch & M.Pharm the State Government, conducts an entrance exam called TG PGECET every year in the month of May/ June. The students are given ranking based on the marks obtained in the test . Admissions are conducted by the Convenor TG PGECET in a systematic manner by means of web counseling, based on the rank obtained in GPAT and for the remaining seats based on the TS PGECET rank. Thus opportunity is given to the student to choose the course specialisation and college. 70% of seats are filled through the GPAT and TG PGECET ranks by the Convenor and 30% seats are filled by the management, based on the merit at TG PGECET / B.Pharm as per the State government prescribed rules from time to time.
Ph.D :-
The admissions into Ph.D (Full Time & Part Time) are done by the Osmania University, The university conducts an entrance test called “Ph.D Entrance Exam” every year or once in two years depending upon the vacancies available & other reasons. The Ph.D entrance exam qualified candidates will be called for interview by the Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, University College of Technology,Osmania University”. In the interview the academics & students performance are recorded and merit list is prepared by following the rules of reservation. The Ph.D admission committee finalizes the list of candidates depending upon vacancies available with the recognized supervisors. The list of selected candidates will be send to the University for Approval.
