Step 1: Check Eligibility

Before applying, ensure you meet the basic eligibility criteria:

  • Completed BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized university.

  • Completed one-year internship before the date specified by the counseling authority.

  • Registered with State/CCIM (NCISM) Ayurvedic Board.

  • Secured minimum required marks in BAMS (usually 50%, and 45% for SC/ST/OBC categories).


Step 2: Appear for AIAPGET Exam

  • Candidates must appear in the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) conducted annually by NTA (National Testing Agency).

  • The exam includes subjects from the entire BAMS syllabus (both Ayurveda and allied sciences).

  • It determines all-India merit for MD/MS (Ayurveda) admissions.
