Doctor of Medicine (Ayurveda) in Prasuti Tantra & Stri Roga is a postgraduate medical specialization in Ayurveda that focuses on obstetrics, gynecology, and women’s reproductive health. The course is designed to develop expertise in pregnancy care, antenatal and postnatal management, menstrual disorders, infertility, gynecological diseases, and women’s wellness through Ayurvedic principles.

The program integrates classical Ayurvedic texts with clinical training, diagnostic skills, Panchakarma therapies, and evidence-based practices, preparing students to manage women’s health conditions holistically. Graduates are trained for independent clinical practice, teaching, research, and hospital-based care.

  • 3 Years (Full-time postgraduate program)

  • Educational Qualification:

    • Must have completed BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized university/institution.

    • The college must be approved by CCIM/NCISM.

  • Internship: Completion of one-year compulsory rotatory internship after BAMS.

  • Entrance Exam: Qualified in AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test).

  • Age Limit: No upper age limit (may vary by university).

Admission to MS in Prasuti Tantra & Stri Roga is primarily based on performance in AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test), conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency).
