MD in Swasthavritta is a postgraduate Ayurvedic program that focuses on preventive medicine, public health, personal hygiene, and lifestyle management as per Ayurvedic principles.

The term Swasthavritta literally means “maintenance of health” — it combines the preventive and social aspects of medicine, guiding individuals toward a balanced lifestyle (Dinacharya, Ritucharya), healthy diet (Ahara), and mental wellbeing (Sadvritta and Yoga).

This specialization integrates Ayurveda with modern preventive medicine and community health, making it vital in promoting holistic wellness and disease prevention.
