Dr. B. D. Jatti Homeopathic Medical College was started in 1992 with an initial intake of 25 students. Since its takeover by Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Dharwad, due to sincere efforts of the Management & Staff, the intake of the college has increased to 100 from the year 2003-04. The college is housed in an impressive building in the heart of the city in five acres of land in the vicinity of the central bus stand and railway station (just 1km). There are many qualified & highly experienced faculty members on the rolls of the college. The College is well managed under the able and highly experienced Principal, Dr. Vaishnavi D Satish. The college is permitted by Depts. of AYUSH, Govt. of India & Govt. of Karnataka. Permitted by MARBH and National Commission For Homoeopathy, New Delhi and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, Bengaluru. The College attracts students from various states of the country apart from Karnataka.
