Bharteeya Sanskrit Prabodhini’s Gomantak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya & Research Centre (GAMRC) is the only Ayurvedic college in Goa and is known for its commitment to providing quality Ayurvedic education and healthcare. Established under the Bharteeya Sanskrit Prabodhini trust, the college integrates classical Ayurvedic principles with modern medical sciences to train competent Ayurvedic professionals.

The college has a 100-bed Ayurvedic hospital, providing extensive clinical exposure to students. It also features a well-maintained herbal garden, pharmacy unit, research wing, and modern laboratories for practical training.

Courses Offered

Undergraduate Course:

BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery)
- Duration: 5½ years (4½ years academic + 1-year internship)
- Intake Capacity: 60 students

Admission to BAMS

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate must have passed 10+2 (Science stream) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects.
Must have obtained at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC category).
The candidate must have qualified NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) conducted by NTA.
The candidate should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the admission year.

Admission Procedure:

Qualify NEET-UG:
Admission is based on the NEET-UG merit list.
Registration for Counselling:
Candidates must register through the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Goa, or All India AYUSH Counselling (AACCC) portal under the Ministry of AYUSH.
Choice Filling & Locking:
Select Gomantak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya & Research Centre, Shiroda as a preferred option.
Seat Allotment:
Based on NEET-UG rank, category, and choice preferences, seats are allotted.
Reporting to the College:
After seat allotment, candidates must report to the college within the specified period for verification.
Document Verification & Fee Payment:
Submit all original documents, pay the admission fee, and confirm the seat.
