The admission process at KGI is simple and student-friendly. Below is the standard process followed for 2025 admissions:

1. Enquiry & Registration

• Students can enquire directly through the college office or online form.

• After enquiry, candidates receive detailed program information and counselling support.

2. Course Selection & Eligibility Check

• The admission team verifies the candidate’s eligibility based on:

  • 10+2 marks

  • Required subject combinations

  • Age criteria (for nursing/paramedical)

  • Entrance exam requirements (if applicable)

3. Application Form Submission

• Candidates must fill out the official Application Form online/offline.

• Submit required documents such as:

  • 10th and 12th marksheets

  • Transfer Certificate (TC)

  • Migration Certificate (if outside Karnataka)

  • Aadhaar ID

  • Passport-size photos

4. Screening & Shortlisting

• The college reviews applications and shortlists eligible candidates.

• Personal counselling or telephonic interaction may be conducted for some courses.

5. Provisional Admission Offer

• Selected candidates receive a Provisional Admission Letter.

• They must confirm their seat by paying the initial admission/booking amount.

6. Document Verification

• Original documents are verified at the campus.

• Students need to submit photocopies for record purposes.

7. Final Admission Confirmation

• After fee payment and document verification, the admission is confirmed.

• Students receive:

  • Fee receipt

  • College ID

  • Academic calendar

  • Orientation schedule

8. Reporting to Campus

• Students must attend the Orientation Program and join classes as per the academic timetable.
