Parul Institute of Ayurved was established on 16 September 2006 by the Parul Arogya Seva Mandal and initially affiliated with Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar.
From 2015 onwards, it became a constituent college of Parul University (Vadodara).
The institute is approved by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, and meets the regulatory infrastructure norms for Ayurvedic education.
It offers undergraduate (BAMS) and postgraduate (MD/MS) Ayurveda programmes.
The associated Ayurvedic hospital (Parul Ayurved Hospital) is well-equipped with IPD, OPD, Panchakarma units, surgery (Shalya/ Shalakya) and other allied facilities, providing clinical exposure to students.
The institute has been ranked among the top Ayurveda colleges in India and has been accorded high grades by the regulatory body for Indian systems of medicine.
Candidate must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects.
Minimum age: 17 years on or before 31 December of the admission year.
Candidate must have a valid score in the national entrance exam: NEET-UG.
Appear for NEET-UG and obtain a valid result.
Apply/participate in the state counselling process for AYUSH/BAMS admissions in Gujarat.

Seats are allotted based on NEET rank, reservation category, and availability of seats.
