1. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

• Minimum qualifying marks as per NCISM / AYUSH norms (relaxation applicable for reserved categories).

• Candidate must be 17 years of age or above in the year of admission.

• NEET-UG qualification is mandatory for BAMS admission.

2. Entrance Examination

• Admission to the BAMS program is based on the NEET-UG examination conducted at the national level.

• The merit rank obtained in NEET determines eligibility for counselling and seat allotment.

3. Counselling Process

• Qualified candidates must participate in AYUSH / State-level counselling as applicable to Puducherry.

• During counselling, candidates select their preferred college and course based on rank and seat availability.

• Multiple rounds of counselling may be conducted including mop-up rounds.

4. Seat Allotment

• Seats are allotted strictly on the basis of NEET merit, category, and availability of seats.

• Once allotted, candidates must confirm acceptance within the stipulated time.

5. Document Verification

Candidates are required to submit original documents, including:

• NEET scorecard

• Class 10 & 12 mark sheets and certificates

• Proof of age

• Category certificate (if applicable)

• Identity proof and passport-size photographs

6. Final Admission

• After successful verification, candidates must pay the prescribed tuition and admission fees.

• Completion of all formalities confirms admission to the college.
