Admission Process

Here's some information about the admission process for Alvas Ayurvedic Medical College in Moodbidri, Karnataka, India:

1.Eligibility: To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course, you must:

Be at least 17 years old and no more than 25 years old on December 31 of the year of admission
Have scored at least 50% in 12th grade
Be eligible for the NEET Entrance Exam

2.Seat allotment: All seats are allotted through the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
3.State quota counseling: The KEA reserves 25% of the total seats for students who are domiciled in Karnataka.
4.Age limit relaxation: The upper age limit may be relaxed by five years for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and physically handicapped candidates.
5.Course duration: The BAMS course is 5 years and 6 months long, including one year of compulsory internship.
6.Tuition fee: The total tuition fee for the BAMS course is INR 340,875.
