Eligibility: 10+2 with min 50% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology. For SC/ST/OBC 45% is required

 

B.Sc Nursing(PB)

Specialization: NA

Duration: 2 Years

EligibilityTo hold GNM and to be registered Nurse. The nurse should have minimum of two years’ experience.

 

 

M.Sc Nursing

Specialization: -----

Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility: B.Sc Nursing with 50%, For SC/ST/OBC 45%

 

GNM Nursing

Specialization:  NA

Duration: 3 Years

Eligibility: 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council
10 +2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE
board/State/Centre
Registered ANM with pass mark.

 

Admission Process:

·         Admissions are taken K-CET counselling basis for Karnataka (Local) students in Convener Quota and other state students can take Direct Admissions if they are eligible as described by PCI.

·         Other state students (Management Quota) can take admissions whether online or Offline.

·         During the admission they must submit the required documents along with admission form and fees.

The Oxford College of Nursing in Bangalore, India has different admission requirements for undergraduate and postgraduate courses: 

1.Undergraduate courses: 

  • Applicants must be at least 17 years old on December 31 of the year they are applying. 
  • Applicants must have passed the 12th standard or PUC or equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 45%. 
  • Applicants must have passed the exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and English as one of the languages. 
  • Applicants must be medically fit. 

2.Postgraduate courses: 

  • Applicants must have passed a B.Sc. in Nursing with a minimum aggregate of 55%. 
  • Applicants must be registered as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with the State Nursing Council. 

3.Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing: 

  • Applicants must have a diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).
  • Applicants must be registered as a nurse.
  • Applicants must have passed the pre-university exam in arts/science/commerce conducted by the Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka State. 
  • Applicants must have a working knowledge of English. 
  • Applicants must be medically fit. 
  • Applicants must have a good personal and professional record.
