Caring for sick people with the science of health care. It is a vital component of any form of medical care. The largest group of workers in the health sector are those in the nursing occupations as nurses and nursing assistants. In a hospital from the general ward to the operating theatre, nursing forms an integral part.

Nursing duties are manifold and cover a wide range of functions and responsibilities, that depends with the level of qualification and the working environment. At the initial level, nurses are required for the bedside care of patients, while at senior level they are required to manage special group of people like psychiatric, pediatric, intensive care patients etc which require specialized skills. They are also involved in dispensing medication, keeping records of the patient’s progress, setting up and operating medical equipment, administration and several other routine chores.

Our goal is to be the national leader among academic health centers of Nursing. We are building on our traditional mission of that of patient care, education and research by:

 Creating innovation in nursing and delivery of health care.

 Educating nurses in an appropriate learning environment to be efficient and safe practitioners by adapting our organization to the changing environment.

 Working collaboratively as partners in the delivery of health care with nursing colleagues in hospital and college and with other professional colleagues.

Admission Process:

·         Admissions are taken K-CET counselling basis for Karnataka (Local) students in Convenor Quota and other state students can take Direct Admissions if they are eligible as described by PCI.

·         Other state students (Management Quota) can take admissions whether online or Offline.

·         During the admission they must submit the required documents along with admission form and fees.
