Aditya College and School of Nursing

Caring for sick people with the science of health care. It is a vital component of any form of medical care. The largest group of workers in the health sector are those in the nursing occupations as nurses and nursing assistants. In a hospital from the general ward to the operating theatre, nursing forms an integral part.

Nursing duties are manifold and cover a wide range of functions and responsibilities, that depends with the level of qualification and the working environment. At the initial level, nurses are required for the bedside care of patients, while at senior level they are required to manage special group of people like psychiatric, pediatric, intensive care patients etc which require specialized skills. They are also involved in dispensing medication, keeping records of the patient’s progress, setting up and operating medical equipment, administration and several other routine chores.

Duration: 4 Years

Eligibility: 10+2 with min 50% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology. For SC/ST/OBC 45% is required

 

B.Sc Nursing(PB)

Specialization: NA

Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility : To hold GNM and to be registered Nurse. The nurse should have minimum of two years’ experience.

 

 

M.Sc Nursing

Specialization: -----

Duration: 2 Years

Eligibility: B.Sc Nursing with 50%, For SC/ST/OBC 45%

 

GNM Nursing

Specialization:  NA

Duration: 3 Years

Eligibility: 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council
10 +2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE
board/State/Centre
Registered ANM with pass mark.

 

Admission Process:

·         Admissions are taken K-CET counselling basis for Karnataka (Local) students in Convenor Quota and other state students can take Direct Admissions if they are eligible as described by PCI.

·         Other state students (Management Quota) can take admissions whether online or Offline.

·         During the admission they must submit the required documents along with admission form and fees.

The college is located in Kogilu Main Road, Yelahanka , Bengaluru with an exclusive Four storied building having all infrastructures that are required to prepare a competent nurse. The college is recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and State Nursing Council,Karnataka and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.

Admission to the Aditya College of Nursing in Bangalore requires passing 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, along with English. The college is accredited by the Indian Nursing Council and the Karnataka State Nursing Council. 

Eligibility criteria

  • The minimum age for admission is 17 years on December 31 of the year in which admission is sought. 
  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board. 
  • The candidate must have passed Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and English papers individually. 
  • The candidate belonging to SC/ST or other backward classes must obtain the mentioned marks in PCB papers together in the qualifying examination.
