? Al-Badar Educational & Charitable Trust’s Al-Badar Dental College & Hospital, was established in the year 1992 in the historical city of Gulbarga situated at the Northern Part of Karnataka. It is a unique, minority, recognized professional college which offers BDS & MDS courses in 7 specialties i.e., Oral Medicine & Radiology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Endodontics and Oral Pathology.

? The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and recognized by Dental Council of India.

? The college was established with the focused objective of bringing intellectual awaking, to impart quality education and to provide dental relief to the people of all works of life. Since its inception in 1992, the college has grown up by leaps and bounds to attain the present state. In the beginning college use to function in its own building near central bus stand. With the objective to start Post Graduation by providing better infrastructure, a new building was constructed on 5 acres 6 gunta plot at Naganhalli Road, Gulbarga. The building houses all dental & medical departments along with lecturer & examination halls spread over 125000 sq..

The MDS courses in 7 specialties i.e., Oral Medicine & Radiology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Endodontics and Oral Pathology are fostered with well qualified staff to guide students & departments are equipped with state of art equipment's for Post Graduate training programmed as well as to provide quality treatment to the people of this region. Dental profession is noble one with self-reliance & with post graduate degree the students can choose for academic side with ample opportunities in India and abroad.

Admission Process

Admission Process
The candidate should have passed 10+2 before 1st October of the year of admission and must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Admission Criteria for B.D.S. He/She shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, of the year of admission to the BDS course. Qualification PUC/10+2/equalling as per Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore/Dental Council of India. The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in qualifying examination be 40% instead of 50% as above and must have passing marks in English. He / She shall have BDS degree from college or university recognized by dental council of India and RGUHS. Candidate not possessing a recognized Dental qualification for the above purpose must secure the prior approval of his/her qualification by DCI before admission to the MDS course. Students for MDS course shall be admitted strictly through NEET qualifying exam and should register themselves in KEA.
