What is BSc IT?

BSc IT Eligibility:

• Candidates must have completed their 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized Board in the science stream having Physics, Chemistry and Math/ Biology as their main subjects.
• One may be required to appear for any entrance exams conducted such as IISER, UPCATET, etc. and may sit for GD/PI round.

• Apply for a Job: If you want you can directly enter the workforce. There are many options to choose from and if you have a high score during graduation, you will be offered a good salary package. The average salary package most likely will be between INR 1-3 LPA. As a fresher, this is a good start. You can then build experience points and expertise and aim higher. You also have the choice to go independent and be a freelancer.
• Further Education: If you are interested and if your financial situation can support it, then higher education after BSc IT is another choice. You can go for a postgraduate degree in the same stream like an M.Sc IT or MCA. This will further widen your horizon as you will get higher-paying jobs as well as the option to get into teaching.
