What is PU UGLAW?

PU UGLAW is a written entrance exam conducted by Panjab University. The entrance exam is conducted for the selection of the candidates for admission in the 5 years integrated course of BA LLB and BCom LLB. The exam is held at Chandigarh, Hoshiarpur and Ludhiana. The duration of the OMR based exam is 1.5 hours and it contains questions from General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Aptitude for Law, Mental Ability, and English Language. The candidates who qualify in the entrance exam have to fill the online admission form and appear for offline counselling. The final merit list for admissions is prepared based on 50% weightage of the PU UGLAW entrance exam and 50% weightage of the qualifying exam for admissions to Colleges accepting PU ULGAW scores.

How to Fill Out PU UGLAW Application Form 2025?

The application form can be filled online. But some of the steps are offline too. Check the stepwise explanation on how to apply for PU UGLAW 2025 entrance test:

Step 1: Online Registration

  • Visit the official website https://uglaw.puchd.ac.in/ of the PU BA LLB/ BCom Law entrance exam.
  • Click on the 'On-line Registration' in the main menu of the website and the application window will open up.
  • Read the instructions to register and fill the application form and click on 'Continue' at the bottom of the page to start the registration process.
  • Enter the details as under to register: 
  1. Name as in Matric (10th Class) Certificate
  2. Date of Birth
  3. Email ID
  4. Mobile Number
  5. Category
  6. Class 12th Passing Year, Board, and School Name
  7. Class 12th Hall Ticket Number
  8. If the ward of PU employee under Class B or C Regular Employee of PU

Once candidates fill in all these details they need to click on the ‘Submit’ button. Candidates will then get their – Application Number, Login ID and Password.

Step 2: Pay the Application Fee

  • Candidates have to log in with details i.e. Application Number, ID and Password to generate fee challan. 
  • The fee can be paid in offline mode only at any branch of the State Bank of India before the last date.
  • Candidates can also pay the fee online using the available options.

Step 3: Form Completion

Candidates need to log in again and fill the application form including:

  • Uploading documents - Scanned copies of photo, signature as per the specifications.
  • Other important details such as if availing Scribe facility.
  • Candidates need to lock the form and submit it in online mode.

PU UGLAW 2025 Result - Panjab University will tentatively release the PU UGLAW 2025 results at uglaw.puchd.ac.in. To check the results, candidates will have to visit the mentioned official website and access the "PU UGLAW 2025 Portal." Candidates can also check their PU UGLAW 2025 result at - results.puchd.ac.in. To check the result online candidates will have to enter their PU UGLAW 2025 roll number and search for their results. 

To qualify in the PU UGLAW 2025 entrance test, general candidates need a minimum of 15% marks, and the SC/ ST/ Backward Class/ PwD candidates need 10% marks. Candidates who qualify this PU UGLAW 2025, can check their names in the preliminary PU UGLAW 2025 merit list. Only those candidates who can see their names in the preliminary merit list can participate in the admission process.
