Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test : 31 DEC 2025

The Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS ECET) is a state-level lateral entry entrance examination conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
TS ECET is conducted for Diploma and BSc (Mathematics) holders seeking lateral entry admission directly into the 2nd year (3rd semester) of BE / BTech / BPharm courses offered by colleges in Telangana.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have completed any one of the following:

  • Diploma in Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy
    OR

  • BSc Degree with Mathematics from a recognized university


Minimum Marks

  • General category: 45% aggregate

  • SC/ST category: 40% aggregate

  • Candidate must satisfy Telangana state local/non-local status requirements as per TSCHE norms
