According to the notice dated September 7, 2026, candidates who wish to select BAMS seats at the National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Jaipur, Rajasthan, or National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Panchkula, Haryana, must choose the correct counselling category while filling their preferences on the AACCC UG portal.

NIA Jaipur and Panchkula BAMS Seats: Select Correct Counselling Category

AACCC has clarified that candidates interested in BAMS seats at NIA Jaipur and NIA Panchkula should select:

“Central Universities/National Institutions”

under the “Selection of Counseling” option on the AACCC UG portal.

AACCC has specifically stated that this instruction applies to the two National Institutes of Ayurveda even though they come under the category of Deemed to be Universities.

Candidates should therefore carefully select the counselling category before proceeding with choice filling.

Deemed University Counselling for Other Institutes

The notice further clarifies that candidates who are interested in Deemed University seats other than NIA Jaipur and NIA Panchkula must select:

“Deemed Universities”

under the “Selection of Counseling” option on the AACCC UG portal.

This distinction is important because selecting the wrong counselling category may affect the availability or display of the desired seats during the choice-filling process.
