Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh has released the Provisional Seat Allocation List for BAMS/BHMS 1st Round Counselling 2026. The notice was issued on September 29, 2026 under reference number AMRU/(COE)-Admission-131/2026-27(BAMS/BHMS)-5900.

The provisional seat allocation list includes candidates who have been allotted seats in various BAMS and BHMS institutes in Himachal Pradesh under different admission quotas and categories. The allotments include seats under HP Quota, Management Quota, General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, Backward Area, Single Girl Child, Widows/Wards of Ex-Servicemen and Wards/Wives of Defence Personnel, as reflected in the provisional list.

Discrepancy Submission Deadline

Candidates have been given an opportunity to report any discrepancy in the merit or seat allocation. Such discrepancies must be communicated to AMRU at counselling.amruhp@gmail.com by 11:00 AM on September 30, 2026.

Candidates are advised to carefully check their merit number, application number, name, institute allotted, applied quota/category and allotted admission quota/category.

Provisional Allocation Is Indicative

AMRU has clarified that the provisional allocation is only indicative in nature and is subject to change. Candidates cannot claim any right over an allotted seat on the basis of the provisional merit/seat allocation, and the provisional allocation cannot be challenged before a court of law.

The University has also stated that provisional allotment of a seat does not confer any right of admission. The final eligibility and category claim will be subject to verification and approval by the Admission Committee of the concerned institute.

Reserved Category and Quota Certificates

Candidates claiming the benefit of any reserved category or quota must ensure that all required certificates and documents are valid, updated and in the prescribed format specified in the prospectus.

Candidates whose certificates are outdated, invalid, discrepant or not submitted in the prescribed format will not be entitled to claim the benefit of the respective category or quota.

AMRU has advised candidates to get their certificates and documents updated or prepared in the prescribed format wherever required before the admission process.

Candidates Should Wait for Final Seat Allotment

The University has specifically instructed candidates to approach the allotted college/institute only after the declaration of the Final Seat Allotment.

Candidates must also download the Provisional Allotment Letter from their candidate login before approaching the allotted institute.

AMRU has clarified that admission will not be considered without seat allocation from AMRU.

BAMS/BHMS 1st Round Seat Allocation Details

The provisional list contains 225 listed candidates in the data provided in the notice. The allotments cover multiple institutes, including:

• Rajiv Gandhi Government Post Graduate Ayurvedic College Hospital, Paprola, District Kangra
• Shiva Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Bilaspur
• Abhilashi Ayurvedic College Research Institute, Mandi
• Awasthi Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Nalagarh, Solan
• Solan Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Solan

The list contains candidates allotted seats under both HP Quota and Management Quota, with category-wise allotments as specified in the provisional allocation list.

Among the listed candidates are allotments under General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, Backward Area, Single Girl Child, Defence Personnel and Widows/Wards of Ex-Servicemen categories.

6. Admission will not be considered without official seat allocation by AMRU.
7. Final eligibility and category claims will be verified by the Admission Committee of the concerned institute.
