The Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh has released the Provisional Merit List for the 1st Round of MDS Counselling 2026-27 based on NEET MDS 2026. The provisional merit list was released on August 26, 2026, through the university's admission counselling process.
According to the official notice, the merit list has been system-generated and prepared on the basis of the data available in the university's system. Candidates have been advised to immediately check their details and report any discrepancy in the provisional merit list.
Candidates who find any discrepancy in their merit position or other details can inform the university by sending an email to counselling.amruhp@gmail.com.
The deadline for reporting discrepancies is 11:00 AM on August 27, 2026. Candidates should ensure that any genuine discrepancy is communicated within the prescribed deadline.
AMRU has clarified that the provisional merit list is only indicative in nature and is subject to change. Candidates cannot claim any right over a seat on the basis of the provisional merit list.
The university has also stated that the provisional merit position cannot be challenged before a court of law.
Candidates should therefore wait for the subsequent admission and counselling process before considering the provisional merit position as final.
Candidates seeking admission under any reserved category or quota have been instructed to ensure that all certificates and documents submitted by them are valid, updated and in the prescribed format mentioned in the admission prospectus.
Candidates whose certificates or documents are outdated, invalid, incomplete or not submitted in the prescribed format may not be eligible to claim the benefit of the concerned category or quota.
AMRU has advised candidates to get their required certificates and documents updated or prepared in the prescribed format wherever necessary before the commencement of the admission process.
As per the provisional merit list released by AMRU, Hemang Vaidya has secured the first merit position under the HP Quota – Direct General category with a NEET score of 669 and an All India Merit Rank of 469.
Nandini Sharma has secured the second position with a NEET score of 659 and an All India Merit Rank of 611, while Aastha Sharma is ranked third with a score of 656 and an All India Merit Rank of 653.
Agrima Khosla, listed under the Management Quota – General category, has secured the fourth merit position with a NEET score of 647 and an All India Merit Rank of 804.
The provisional list contains candidates under both HP Quota – Direct and Management Quota, along with different reservation categories including General, SC, ST and EWS, as applicable.
