Atal Medical & Research University (AMRUHP), Himachal Pradesh, has announced an extension of the last date for admission under the 2nd round of Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing (PB B.Sc Nursing) counselling 2026.

According to the university notice dated October 24, 2026, the extension follows representations from in-service candidates who reported difficulties obtaining a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the government within the earlier admission timeline.

Candidates allotted seats in the second round can now complete their admission process at their respective allotted institutes on October 27 and October 28, 2026.

Why Was the Admission Deadline Extended?

The revised schedule provides these candidates with additional time to report to their allotted institutes and complete the admission process.

Candidates allotted seats during the 2nd round of PB B.Sc Nursing counselling should take note of the following instructions:

• Report to the respective allotted institute on October 27 or 28, 2026.

• Complete the admission formalities within the revised deadline.

• Keep the required admission documents ready, including the applicable NOC and other certificates required by the institute.

• Follow the admission instructions issued by the university and the allotted institute.

No further request for an extension of the admission date will be entertained, according to the university notice. Candidates should therefore complete the admission process within the revised schedule.
