The Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr. NTR UHS), Vijayawada has issued a notification inviting online applications for admission to All India Quota seats in private unaided non-minority BHMS colleges affiliated with the University for the academic year 2026-27.
The admission process is open to candidates who fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria based on NEET UG 2026. The AIQ seats are open in nature, and the notification states that candidates do not require a domicile certificate for these seats.

All dates are tentative, and Dr. NTR UHS has reserved the right to change the schedule without assigning a reason or providing advance notice.
Candidates should note that the online application will not be available from 8:00 PM on September 18, 2026, until 10:00 PM on September 20, 2026, due to server maintenance.
Candidates should therefore complete their applications and uploads accordingly instead of waiting until the last date.
Candidates must secure the prescribed qualifying score in NEET UG 2026 to participate in the BHMS admission process.

The notification makes the minimum qualifying percentile in NEET UG 2026 compulsory for admission.
For admission to BHMS, candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board with:
Candidates must also meet the prescribed minimum qualifying percentile in NEET UG 2026.
The notification clarifies that the lower qualifying percentile applicable to SC/ST/BC/PwD candidates is only for eligibility purposes. It will not apply as reservation because there are no reservation quotas for these categories in the AIQ seats covered by this notification.
Candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31, 2026.
Candidates who do not complete 17 years by that date are not eligible. Candidates born on or after January 1, 2010, are also not eligible.
The date of birth will be considered according to the SSC or equivalent examination certificate. There is no upper age limit specified in the notification.

The notification states that the number of seats permitted by NCISM/NCH and the University affiliation for 2026-27 will be displayed before counselling.
The tuition fee for the academic year 2026-27 will be as fixed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Selected candidates will also have to pay a University Fee of INR 8,600 while downloading the allotment order online.
The University Fee is non-refundable and will not be adjusted to a future date.
The notification states that all AIQ seats are open in nature and there is no requirement for a domicile certificate for selection to these seats, as per the directions of the Ministry of Ayush cited in the notification.

Dr. NTR UHS and concerned departmental officials will scrutinize the uploaded information and certificates.
After scrutiny, a provisional merit list will be released. Candidates will have an opportunity to submit grievances, after which the final merit list will be released.
The notification also states that admission to BHMS will be conducted according to the applicable orders and regulations issued by NCISM/NCH, Government of India and the Ministry of Ayush.

Candidates should therefore verify every uploaded document before submitting the application.
Verification of original certificates will be conducted by the college where the seat is allotted.
At the time of joining, candidates must submit the printout of the completed online application, original certificates and one set of self-attested copies to the Principal of the allotted college for final verification.
If a discrepancy is found, the provisional allotment order may be cancelled without notice.
The notification makes it clear that admission is strictly provisional. Merely obtaining a merit position does not mean that the candidate's candidature has been finally accepted.
Eligibility will be examined by the University and concerned officials on the basis of the uploaded scanned original certificates. An ineligible candidate obtaining a merit position does not become eligible for admission.
Candidates found to have provided incorrect information or fake, false or forged certificates may have their candidature, seat or admission cancelled.
