Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr. NTR UHS), Vijayawada has released a Detailed Notification for admission to Management Quota seats in Private Unaided Non-Minority BHMS Colleges for the academic session 2026-27.

Online applications have been invited from candidates who fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria based on NEET UG 2026. The admission process will cover Management Quota seats in private unaided non-minority BHMS colleges affiliated with Dr. NTR UHS.

AP BHMS Management Quota Counselling 2026: Important Dates

The University has clarified that all dates are tentative and may be changed without assigning any reason or advance notice.

Server Maintenance: Application Portal Will Be Unavailable Temporarily

Candidates should note that the online application will not be available from 8:00 PM on September 18, 2026, up to 10:00 PM on September 20, 2026, due to scheduled server maintenance.

Candidates are therefore advised to plan their application submission accordingly and avoid waiting until the final deadline.

NEET UG 2026 Cutoff for BHMS Admission

Candidates must have the prescribed qualifying score in NEET UG 2026 to participate in the BHMS admission process.

The notification states that the minimum qualifying percentile in NEET UG 2026 is compulsory for BHMS admission.

BHMS Eligibility Criteria

For admission to the BHMS course, candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with:

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Biology or Biotechnology

Candidates must also secure the minimum qualifying percentile in NEET UG 2026.

The notification also clarifies that the lower qualifying percentile applicable to SC/ST/BC/PwD candidates is only for eligibility and does not provide reservation in the Management Quota seats covered by this notification.

Age Limit

Candidates seeking admission must have completed 17 years of age as on December 31, 2026.

Candidates who do not attain 17 years by that date are not eligible. Candidates born on or after January 1, 2010, are also not eligible.

The date of birth will be considered based on the SSC or equivalent examination certificate. There is no upper age limit specified in the notification.

BHMS Management Quota Colleges and Seats

The notification lists private unaided non-minority BHMS colleges and states that the Management Quota seats permitted by the applicable NCISM/NCH affiliation for 2026-27 will be displayed before counselling.

The University has clarified that the final number of seats permitted for the 2026-27 academic year will be displayed before counselling.

Tuition Fee and University Fee

The notification states that the tuition fee for the 2026-27 academic year will be as fixed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

In addition, all selected candidates have to pay a University Fee of INR 20,100 while downloading the allotment order online.

The University Fee is non-refundable and will not be adjusted to a future date.

Application Fee

The application and processing fee for this counselling is:

INR 3,600 + Bank Charges

Candidates can pay the fee through:

• Net Banking

The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

No Offline Admission Without Counselling

Dr. NTR UHS has specifically highlighted that, as per the notification of the Ministry of Ayush and applicable regulatory authorities, there shall be no offline admission or admission without counselling.

All admissions against the Management Quota seats covered under the notification will be conducted by Dr. NTR UHS, Vijayawada through the prescribed counselling process.

Documents Required for Online Application

Candidates should scan and keep the following documents ready:

• NEET UG Rank Card 2026
• Date of Birth Certificate/SSC Marks Memo
• Qualifying Examination Certificate
• Caste Certificate, if applicable
• PwBD Certificate/UDID Card and required affidavits, if applicable
• Aadhaar Card
• Latest passport-size photograph with name and date
• Candidate's specimen signature

The notification specifies file-size requirements for the documents. For example, mandatory PDF documents such as the NEET UG Rank Card, DOB certificate and qualifying examination certificate are specified at 500 KB, while the photograph and signature are specified at 100 KB.

Merit List and Counselling Process

Dr. NTR UHS will scrutinize the information and certificates uploaded by candidates.

A provisional merit list will be released after scrutiny. Candidates will subsequently be provided an opportunity to raise grievances, after which the final merit position will be released.

The state merit position will be prepared primarily on the basis of NEET UG 2026 score and rank, along with the other eligibility criteria specified in the notification.
