The Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr. NTRUHS), Vijayawada, has released a detailed notification for admission to the Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) course under Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2026-27.
The university has invited online application forms from eligible candidates seeking admission to BNYS colleges affiliated with Dr. NTRUHS in Andhra Pradesh.
Candidates are required to complete the online application process and upload the prescribed scanned certificates within the notified schedule.
According to the notification, the online application process will begin on 28 September 2026.

Candidates must fulfil the prescribed age and educational qualification requirements for admission to the BNYS course.
Candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on 31 December 2026.
Candidates who do not complete 17 years of age by 31 December 2026 will not be eligible.
The notification further states that candidates born on or after 1 January 2010 are not eligible.
There is no upper age limit for admission.
The date of birth will be calculated according to the date of birth recorded in the Board of Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC) or equivalent examination.
Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) with:
Candidates who have passed 10+2 from recognized boards such as AISSCE, CBSE, ICSE, SSCE, HSCE, NIOS, APOSS or another equivalent board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology can also apply, subject to the prescribed eligibility conditions.
The minimum aggregate marks required in Science subjects are as follows:

Candidates seeking admission under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category must indicate their PwD status while filling the online application.
Such candidates will have to appear before a Medical Board constituted by the University for determining eligibility under PwD status, as per the schedule to be notified by the university.
The notification lists two private unaided non-minority Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences colleges with Competent Authority Quota seats for 2026-27.

Candidates should follow the prescribed online application procedure.
First, candidates should read the notification, prospectus and regulations carefully, particularly the rules relating to local and non-local status.
Candidates should then visit the designated application portal and enter the required basic details. A registration number will be sent to the registered mobile number after entering the basic details.
Candidates should keep this registration number confidential and use it for further stages of the application process.
Applicants must enter all details correctly and upload all mandatory certificates in the prescribed format before submitting the application.

Dr. NTRUHS will scrutinize the data and scanned certificates uploaded by candidates.
After scrutiny, the university will release a provisional merit list. A final merit list will subsequently be released after addressing grievances, if any, raised by candidates.
Candidates should regularly visit the university website for further notifications and instructions regarding web options and counselling.
The university has stated that online applications may be rejected automatically if they contain certain deficiencies, including:

Candidates are therefore advised to carefully verify all information and uploaded documents before submitting the application.
Certificate verification will initially be conducted based on the scanned certificates uploaded online.
Candidates should keep all original certificates ready for final verification.
At the time of joining the allotted college, candidates will have to submit the printout of the filled online application form, provisional verification form and original certificates along with one set of self-attested copies.
If any discrepancy is found during final verification, the provisional allotment order may be cancelled without notice.
Candidates should not send the printout of the application form to the university.
The notification states that candidate admission is strictly provisional.
The mere fact that a candidate's name appears in the merit position does not mean that the university has finally accepted the candidature or verified all information submitted in the online application.
An ineligible candidate obtaining a merit position will not become eligible for admission merely because of the merit position.
If information furnished by a candidate is found to be incorrect, the candidature may be cancelled and further action may be taken according to the applicable rules.
If certificates are found to be fake, false or forged at any stage of verification or admission, the university can cancel the seat or admission without notice.
The university will subsequently issue notifications regarding web counselling and exercising web options.
