Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada has issued a notification dated August 14, 2026, announcing the schedule for the medical examination of candidates applying under the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2026-27.
As per the notification, eligible PwBD candidates must appear before the University Medical Board at NTRUHS, Vijayawada on their allotted date. Candidates who fail to attend the medical examination as scheduled will not be considered for admission under the PwBD quota.

The University has also stated that candidates may be required to stay for an additional day if recommended by the University Medical Board after examination.

NTRUHS has also published the list of candidates who applied under the PwBD category. Candidates have been divided into two groups according to their serial numbers.
August 18, 2026: Candidates from Serial No. 1 to 40 will appear before the Medical Board.
August 19, 2026: Candidates from Serial No. 41 to the last candidate will appear before the Medical Board.
The published list includes candidates with NEET UG 2026 scores ranging from 592 marks to 179 marks.
Physical appearance before the NTRUHS University Medical Board is mandatory for candidates seeking admission under the PwBD quota. Candidates should report on their allotted date with all required original documents.
Failure to appear before the Medical Board as per the notified schedule will result in the candidate not being considered for admission under the PwBD category.
