Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada has issued a corrigendum dated September 13, 2026, regarding the schedule for candidates seeking admission to NRI category and NRI Lapsed category seats in MBBS and BDS courses for the 2026-27 academic session.

The corrigendum partially modifies the university's notification dated September 13, 2026 and provides separate timelines for candidates who have already registered and those who wish to register afresh for NRI category seats.

NTRUHS NRI Category Admission 2026: Revised Schedule

Candidates Already Registered

Candidates who have already registered and are included in the Provisional Final Merit Position displayed on September 1, 2026, and wish to opt for NRI Category/NRI Lapsed Category seats in MBBS or BDS courses can upload their required documents through their login.

Deadline: 2:00 PM on September 16, 2026

No registration fee will be charged from these candidates for uploading the required documents.

Candidates should upload scanned copies of the original documents and complete the process within the prescribed deadline.

Fresh Registration for NRI Category Seats

Candidates who did not register earlier and now wish to participate for NRI category seats can register afresh through the online portal.

Such candidates must:

• Complete the online application.
• Upload scanned original documents.
• Upload the relevant NRI declaration and supporting documents.
• Pay the prescribed registration fee.

Registration Fee: INR 11,000
Last Date: 2:00 PM on September 16, 2026

Candidates registering under this provision will be eligible to opt only for NRI Category seats in the colleges specified in the notification. They will not be permitted to opt for other category seats.

Late Registration Window

NTRUHS has also provided a late registration facility.

Candidates can register by paying a total of INR 31,000, comprising:

• Registration Fee: INR 11,000
• Late Fee: INR 20,000
• Total: INR 31,000

The late registration window will be available:

From: 5:00 PM on September 16, 2026
To: 4:00 PM on September 17, 2026

Candidates registering during this late window can participate for the category seats specified in the university's notifications dated September 1, 2026 and September 13, 2026.

Seats Covered Under the Notification

The corrigendum covers the following categories of seats:

1. Competent Authority Self-Financing NRI Category seats in new Government Medical Colleges permitted from the academic year 2023-24 onwards.
2. Management Quota Category B1, B2 and C (NRI) seats in private unaided non-minority and minority medical and dental colleges affiliated with Dr NTRUHS.
3. NRI Category seats in Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women, under SVIMS, Tirupati.

What Candidates Should Do

Candidates seeking NRI/NRI Lapsed category MBBS or BDS seats should carefully check their eligibility and follow the applicable registration process.

Already registered candidates should upload their required documents through their login before 2:00 PM on September 16, 2026.

Candidates who did not register earlier and want to participate specifically for NRI category seats must complete fresh registration and document upload by the same deadline after paying the INR 11,000 registration fee.
