Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr NTRUHS), Vijayawada has issued a notice for candidates who have applied for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the Competent Authority Quota through the Sports & Games Category for the academic session 2026-27.

According to File No. 5156/MBBS/BDS/EA1/2026 (Sports), dated September 22, 2026, candidates who attended the physical verification of their Sports & Games certificates on August 31 and September 1, 2026 must now appear for the physical skill test in their respective sports/games.

AP NEET UG Sports Quota Skill Test 2026: Date and Venue

The physical skill test will be conducted under the supervision of nominated technical experts and Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) coaches.

Candidates must reach the venue by 8:00 AM on September 25, 2026 and comply with the instructions issued by the officials conducting the skill test.

Who Needs to Appear for the Skill Test?

The notice applies to candidates who:

• Have applied for MBBS or BDS admission under the Sports & Games Category.
• Attended the physical verification of Sports & Games certificates on August 31 or September 1, 2026.
• Are required to undergo physical skill assessment in their respective sport/game.

The skill test will be conducted by the designated technical experts and SAAP coaches.

Candidates Must Wear Proper Sports Kit

Candidates appearing for the physical skill test have been instructed to wear proper sports kit/dress suitable for their respective sport or game.

Candidates should also ensure that they are adequately prepared for the practical assessment at the designated venue.

Sports Equipment and Original Certificates Required

Candidates must bring their own playing/sports equipment, wherever necessary for the respective sport or game.

They must also carry:

• Original Sports & Games certificates/documents
• Backup certificates/documents
• Any other relevant documents required for verification

Candidates should ensure that the original documents are available at the time of the physical skill test.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates have been instructed to:

1. Report at Acharya Nagarjuna University Campus, Guntur by 8:00 AM on September 25, 2026.
2. Wear the appropriate sports kit/dress for their respective game.
3. Bring their own sports equipment wherever necessary.
4. Carry all relevant original Sports & Games certificates/documents.
5. Carry backup certificates/documents.
6. Follow the instructions of the nominated technical experts and officials conducting the test.

Absence From Skill Test Will Affect Sports Category Consideration

Dr NTRUHS has clearly stated that candidates who fail to attend the physical skill test on September 25, 2026, before the SAAP authorities at the specified venue will not be considered under the Sports & Games Category.

The notice further states that no correspondence will be entertained regarding non-attendance at the scheduled physical skill test.Candidates should therefore make arrangements to reach the venue on time.
