The Regional Dental College (RDC), Guwahati has revised the schedule for the first round of counselling for MDS admissions 2026 under the Assam State Quota.

As per the Admission Notice dated August 28, 2026, the counselling earlier scheduled for September 7, 2026 has now been preponed to September 5, 2026, following the revised schedule issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

The counselling will be conducted for eligible candidates seeking admission to MDS seats at Regional Dental College, Guwahati under the Assam State Quota for the academic session 2026.

Assam NEET MDS Counselling 2026: Revised Date

Eligible candidates are required to appear physically for the counselling on September 5, 2026, at 11:30 AM.

The counselling venue is:

Office of the Director of Medical Education, Assam
Sixmile, Khanapara,
Guwahati-22, Assam

Candidates should report at the scheduled time with all necessary original documents and certificates required for the admission and counselling process.

Who Can Appear for Assam NEET MDS Round 1 Counselling?

The notice states that candidates who meet the following conditions are eligible to appear:

• Candidates whose names are included in the Assam State NEET-MDS 2026 merit list conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), New Delhi.
• Candidates who have secured a merit position up to 25 in the Assam State NEET-MDS 2026 merit list.
• Candidates who have fulfilled all prescribed eligibility criteria for admission to MDS courses under Assam State Quota seats.

Eligible candidates are required to attend the counselling physically at the specified venue.
