The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has issued a notice regarding the Online Mop-Up Counselling for BCECE 2026 for filling the remaining vacant seats in government institutions across Pharmacy, Medical and Agriculture streams.
As per Advertisement No. BCECEB(BCECE)-2026/12 dated August 25, 2026, the mop-up counselling will be conducted on the basis of the previously published merit lists of BCECE (PCM/PCB/PCMB)-2026 and BCECE (CBA/PCA/MBA/MCA)-2026.
The counselling will cover all seats in the government-sector Pharmacy and Medical streams and 50% of the Agriculture stream seats based on the joint merit list of BCECE (PCM/PCB/PCMB)-2026. The remaining 50% of Agriculture seats will be filled on the basis of the merit list of BCECE (CBA/PCA/MBA/MCA)-2026.
The Board has made available the course-wise, institution-wise and category-wise vacant seats remaining after the completion of admissions through the first and second rounds of online counselling.
These vacant seats will now be filled through the Online Mop-Up Counselling process.
Candidates can check the available vacant seats and detailed counselling instructions on the official BCECEB website.
The Consent/Willingness-cum-Choice Filling process will begin from August 27, 2026.
Eligible candidates are required to provide their willingness and fill their preferred colleges and branches/courses according to the instructions issued by BCECEB.
The complete schedule, procedure for submitting consent/willingness, choice filling instructions and other details have been provided by the Board through Advertisement No. BCECEB(BCECE)-2026/11 dated August 25, 2026.
Candidates should carefully follow the prescribed procedure while submitting their choices.

Candidates should not assume that participation in the mop-up counselling automatically guarantees seat allotment. Seat allotment will depend on the available vacancies, merit position, category and choices submitted by candidates, as per the applicable counselling rules.
