The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the official schedule for Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2026, also known as UGMAC 2026. The counselling process will be conducted for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the Bihar state quota.

As per the announced schedule, the Round 1 registration and choice-filling process will begin on August 10, 2026. Eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates will be required to complete registration, fee payment and choice submission within the prescribed deadlines.

Registration and Choice Filling Begins on August 10

Candidates eligible for UGMAC 2026 will be able to register online from August 10, 2026. During the registration window, candidates will also be required to submit their preferred colleges and courses through the choice-filling facility.

The last date to complete registration and fee payment is August 14, 2026, up to 11:59 PM. Candidates should complete the process before the deadline to avoid missing the counselling round.

Bihar NEET Rank Card on August 16

After the registration process, the Bihar NEET UG rank card is scheduled to be released on August 16, 2026. Candidates will be able to check their counselling rank and use it to participate in the subsequent admission process.

The deadline for choice filling and locking is August 17, 2026. Candidates should carefully arrange their preferred colleges and courses before locking their choices.

Round 1 Seat Allotment Result on August 20

The UGMAC 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on August 20, 2026. Seat allotment will be based on factors including the candidate's NEET UG 2026 rank, choices submitted, category and availability of seats.

Candidates who are allotted seats will have to complete the required admission formalities within the specified timeline.

Document Verification and Admission

Candidates allotted seats in Round 1 will have to complete document verification and admission from August 24 to August 27, 2026.

Applicants should keep their original documents and required certificates ready for verification. Candidates are advised to carefully follow the instructions issued by BCECEB regarding reporting and admission.

Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2026

The Bihar NEET UG counselling process is conducted by BCECEB for admission to medical and dental courses offered by participating institutions in the state.
