The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released a notice for Round 3 Online Application and Choice Filling under the Post Graduate Dental Admission Counselling (PGDAC)-2026. The counselling is being conducted for admission to first-year Post Graduate Dental (MDS) courses in government and private dental colleges of Bihar for the academic year 2026-27.

As per Advertisement No. BCECEB(PGDAC)-2026/05 dated October 2, 2026, online registration and submission of the Application-cum-Choice Filling form for Round 3 will begin from October 5, 2026.

Round 3 counselling is open to qualified, eligible and interested NEET(MDS)-2026 candidates who have not previously completed registration and online application submission, as well as candidates who completed the registration process but did not duly submit the online application along with the prescribed counselling fee and security deposit against the earlier PGDAC-2026 advertisements.

However, candidates participating in Round 3 must not be admitted to any Dental College in India. The admission process will be conducted on the basis of the PGDAC-2026 Rank List, which has been prepared using the All India Rank (AIR) obtained in NEET(MDS)-2026.

The Round 3 counselling will be conducted against the vacant MDS seats remaining after the PGDAC-2026 Round 2 Online Counselling, which was conducted from September 29 to September 30, 2026.

BCECEB has also informed candidates that the updated seat matrix after Round 2 counselling is available on the official Board website. If additional vacancies arise due to resignation or other reasons, the revised seat matrix will also be uploaded on the website. Candidates must check the latest seat matrix before completing registration, submitting the Application-cum-Choice Filling form, submitting consent, or editing their choices.

The Board has stated that the detailed eligibility criteria, counselling fee payment procedure, choice-filling process, instructions and other relevant information are available in the PGDAC-2026 Prospectus and the detailed Advertisement No. BCECEB(PGDAC)-2026/04 dated October 2, 2026.

Candidates are advised to carefully read the prospectus and detailed advertisement before participating in Round 3 counselling. They should also verify the updated vacancy position before submitting their choices.

Who Can Participate in Round 3?

Eligible NEET(MDS)-2026 candidates who have not registered earlier can participate in the Round 3 process. Candidates who registered earlier but did not complete the online application submission along with the required counselling fee and security deposit may also participate, subject to the eligibility conditions prescribed by BCECEB.

Candidates must not be admitted to any Dental College in India at the time of participating in this counselling round.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Candidates should check the updated Round 3 seat matrix before filling or editing their choices. BCECEB may upload a further revised seat matrix if vacancies arise due to resignation or other reasons. Candidates should also read the PGDAC-2026 Prospectus and detailed advertisement carefully for eligibility, fee payment, choice filling and other counselling-related instructions.
