The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has issued a notice regarding the extended online counselling programme for Round 2 of Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2026.

According to Advertisement No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/08 dated September 17, 2026, the Round 2 counselling schedule has been extended following the addition of one new private medical college in Bihar.

The notice has been issued in continuation of the earlier advertisement dated September 15, 2026.

New Private Medical College Added to Bihar UGMAC 2026

As per the notice, the Bihar Health Department has informed BCECEB about the addition of:

Mamta Medical College and Hospital, Chintamanpur, Dharaundha, District Siwan

The new institution has been added to the UGMAC 2026 counselling process, and the updated seat matrix has been uploaded on the BCECEB website.

Eligible NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates should check the updated seat matrix before submitting or modifying their choices.

Bihar UGMAC 2026 Round 2: Extended Schedule

The Round 2 counselling schedule has been revised as follows:

Registration and Application Editing

Registered candidates can complete the required application form data editing within the extended deadline.

The last date for online registration and submission of the application form, including payment through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI, has been extended to:

September 18, 2026, up to 11:59 PM

Candidates who have already submitted their application form earlier may also need to provide their consent for Round 2, along with payment wherever applicable, by 10:00 PM on September 18, 2026.

Choice Filling and Choice Editing

Candidates participating in Round 2 must carefully review the updated seat matrix before making their choices.

The last date for:

• Editing of Choices
• Choice Locking

is September 21, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.

Candidates should make their choices according to their preferred courses and colleges and complete the locking process within the prescribed deadline.

Round 2 Seat Allotment Result

BCECEB will publish the Round 2 Provisional Seat Allotment Result on September 25, 2026.

Candidates will be able to download their provisional seat allotment order from:

September 25 to September 29, 2026

Candidates allotted seats should carefully check the allotment order and follow the instructions issued by BCECEB.

Document Verification and Admission

Candidates who receive seats in Round 2 will have to complete document verification and admission during the prescribed period.
