The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced an extended counselling programme for Round 2 of Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC)-2026.

As per Adv. No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/07 dated September 15, 2026, the Round 2 counselling schedule has been extended following a letter issued by the Health Department, Bihar, dated September 15, 2026.

The revised counselling programme applies to eligible and interested NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. programmes in government and private institutions covered under UGMAC 2026.

New Private Medical College Added in Bihar

BCECEB has informed candidates that one new private medical college has been added to the UGMAC 2026 counselling process:

K.K. Medical College & Hospital, Rajgir, Nalanda

Along with the new medical college, 50 additional seats have also been added to: Himalaya Medical College & Hospital, Paliganj, PatnaThe updated seat matrix has been uploaded on the official BCECEB website.Candidates participating in Round 2 should check the updated seat matrix before finalising their choices.

Bihar UGMAC 2026 Round 2 Extended Schedule

The revised schedule for Round 2 counselling is as follows:

Candidates should strictly follow the revised deadlines to remain eligible for the respective stages of the Round 2 counselling process.

Registration and Application Editing Extended

Registered candidates can continue to complete or edit their application form data until 11:59 PM on September 17, 2026.

Candidates who have already submitted their application form earlier and are required to provide consent for Round 2 with payment, wherever applicable, can do so up to 10:00 PM on September 17, 2026.

The Board has specified that payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI.

Choice Filling Deadline

The last date for choice filling, editing of choices and locking of choices has been extended to:

September 20, 2026, up to 11:59 PM

Candidates should carefully review the updated seat matrix, including the newly added medical college and additional seats, before submitting and locking their preferences.

Once choices are locked, candidates should wait for the Round 2 provisional seat allotment result.

Bihar UGMAC Round 2 Seat Allotment

The Round 2 Provisional Seat Allotment Result will be published on September 24, 2026. Candidates will be able to download their provisional seat allotment orders from September 24 to September 28, 2026.Those allotted seats will have to complete the prescribed document verification and admission process from September 26 to September 28, 2026.Candidates should carefully follow the instructions mentioned in their provisional seat allotment order.
