The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released a notice for the UGMAC 2026 Stray Vacancy Round for undergraduate admissions to MBBS, BDS, Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.), and Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) courses in Bihar.

The notice, Advertisement No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/15, was issued on October 18, 2026. The counselling process will be conducted online to fill vacancies remaining after Round 3 counselling, which took place from October 16 to October 17, 2026.

Eligible candidates who have not registered previously, or who registered but did not complete their application submission and required fee payment, may apply if they satisfy the prescribed conditions. Candidates who submitted applications earlier may also provide consent if they meet the eligibility requirements specified in Paragraph 15 of the previous notice, Advertisement No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/14.

Bihar UGMAC 2026 Stray Vacancy Round: Important Dates

The notice confirms the commencement date but refers candidates to Advertisement No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/14 for the complete schedule and deadlines.

According to the schedule in the earlier detailed notification, registration closes on October 21, 2026, at 10:00 PM. Application submission, payment and application-data editing close on October 21 at 11:59 PM. Choice filling, editing and locking close on October 22 at 11:59 PM.

Courses Covered Under UGMAC 2026 Stray Vacancy Counselling

The counselling process covers the following undergraduate programmes:

• MBBS: Government and private medical colleges in Bihar.

• BDS: Government and private dental colleges in Bihar.

• B.V.Sc. & A.H.: Veterinary and Animal Husbandry courses in eligible government institutions.

• B.F.Sc.: Fisheries Science courses in eligible government colleges.

The allotment process will be based on the UGMAC 2026 merit rank prepared using the All India Rank obtained in NEET UG 2026, along with the applicable counselling rules and candidates’ choices.

Who Can Participate in the Stray Vacancy Round?

Candidates must be qualified in NEET UG 2026 and meet the eligibility requirements in the UGMAC 2026 prospectus and relevant counselling notification.

Fresh registration is intended for eligible candidates who have not completed registration and application submission, including those whose earlier registration was not followed by successful application submission and payment.

Candidates who have already submitted their applications must follow the consent procedure outlined in Paragraph 15 of Advertisement No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/14, where applicable. Candidates should carefully check their eligibility before submitting consent or participating in the round.
