The fresh registration facility is intended for qualified and eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates who have not registered for UGMAC 2026 or who registered earlier but did not complete the application submission and required fee payment, provided they meet the eligibility conditions and have not been admitted to a medical or dental college in India.
Candidates who previously submitted their applications and fall under the conditions specified in Paragraph 15 of the notification may participate by logging into the UGMAC portal and submitting their consent.
However, candidates who have already taken admission through UGMAC Round 1, Round 2 or Round 3, or through All India Quota (AIQ) counselling up to Round 3, are generally not eligible for the stray vacancy round. Candidates allotted a seat through the AIQ stray vacancy round are also ineligible for further UGMAC counselling.
BCECEB has specified different participation conditions for candidates whose Round 3 allotments were cancelled and those who completed admission.
Candidates with cancelled MBBS/BDS allotments: Eligible candidates whose Round 3 seats were cancelled because they did not report, failed to resolve document discrepancies, or reported but did not take admission must submit consent, make a fresh payment of the applicable counselling fee and security deposit, and fill fresh choices. They will be eligible only for B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. seats.
Candidates with cancelled veterinary or fisheries allotments: Eligible candidates whose B.V.Sc. & A.H. or B.F.Sc. allotments were cancelled may participate for MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H., and B.F.Sc. seats after completing the prescribed consent and fresh payment requirements.
Candidates admitted to B.V.Sc. & A.H. or B.F.Sc. in Round 3: Those who completed admission and document verification may submit consent and edit their choices for the stray vacancy round. However, they cannot delete their Round 3 allotted choice, although they may change its position in the preference list. They cannot edit their previously submitted application data.
Candidates must carefully review their individual eligibility before participating.
Eligible candidates must visit the official BCECEB website and open the Online Portal of UGMAC-2026. The process involves the following steps:
Registration: Enter the NEET UG 2026 roll number, name and date of birth for identity verification. Complete OTP authentication and create a password.
Application form: Enter personal, contact and educational details.
Document upload: Upload the required photograph, signature and applicable certificates.
Final submission and payment: Review the application, submit the declaration, and pay the counselling fee and security deposit.
Choice filling: Select courses and colleges in order of preference.
Choice locking: Save and lock the choices before October 22, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
Confirmation: Download the application confirmation page, fee receipt and choice slip for future reference.
