The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has issued Adv. No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/06 dated September 11, 2026, regarding resignation/withdrawal of allotted seats from Round 1 counselling and the online counselling programme for Round 2 of UGMAC-2026.

The counselling is being conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. courses in government medical, dental, veterinary and fisheries institutions, as well as private medical and dental colleges in Bihar.

Bihar UGMAC 2026 Round 2 Counselling

According to the notice, the online registration and submission of the Application Form-cum-Choice Filling, along with editing of application data and choices, for Round 2 will start from:

September 12, 2026

Eligible and interested candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 can participate in the counselling process as per the eligibility criteria and instructions specified by BCECEB.

Candidates should carefully check the updated seat matrix before submitting their college and course preferences.

Two New Government Medical Colleges Added

The Bihar Health Department has added two new Government Medical Colleges to the UGMAC 2026 counselling process.

The newly added government medical colleges are:

1. Sriram Janki Medical College & Hospital, Samastipur
2. Government Medical College, Chapra (Saran)

These institutions have been added following the Bihar Health Department letter No. 1246(1) dated September 10, 2026.

New Private Medical College Added

One new private medical college has also been included in the updated UGMAC 2026 seat matrix:

Kurma Sanskriti Medical College & Hospital, Kurma, Jehanabad

In addition, some additional seats have been added in different private medical colleges.

BCECEB has stated that the updated seat matrix has been uploaded on the Board's official website.

Round 1 Seat Resignation / Withdrawal

The notice also concerns the resignation or withdrawal of allotted seats from Round 1 counselling.

Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 1 should carefully follow the instructions issued by BCECEB regarding resignation or withdrawal before participating in the next counselling round.

Candidates should refer to the applicable UGMAC 2026 counselling instructions and prospectus for the detailed rules governing seat withdrawal and subsequent participation.
