The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Puducherry, has released the Round 1 Provisional Allotment List for PG Dental (MDS) Courses for the academic year 2026-27.
According to the notice dated September 7, 2026, the provisional allotment list has been published after disposing of the objections and grievances raised by candidates against the Draft Allotment List.
The Round 1 allotment is applicable to MDS seats under Government and Management Quota. Candidates can check their allotment status through their CENTAC Dashboard login and download the allotment order from September 7 onwards.
Candidates who participated in the CENTAC PG Dental counselling process can now check their Round 1 provisional seat allotment through the official website.
The allotment list was released after consideration of the objections and grievances submitted against the draft allotment list.
CENTAC has also clarified that, as per its notice dated September 4, 2026, MDS seats in Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College have been excluded from the Round 1 Draft Allotment.
Candidates should carefully check their allotted college, course and quota before proceeding with admission.

Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 1 can report to the Principal of the allotted college from September 7, 2026 onwards.

Admission will be strictly subject to the production of all requisite original certificates and completion of the prescribed admission formalities.
Candidates are required to pay the applicable fee by following the instructions provided in their CENTAC dashboard.
The fee structure for the relevant courses has been uploaded on the CENTAC website.
Candidates making payment through bank transfer should ensure that they transfer the exact amount mentioned in the challan. CENTAC has advised candidates to carefully follow the payment instructions to avoid the amount being returned.
For NEFT/RTGS payments, the generated challan can be used only once.
Candidates are advised to read the HELP Instructions available on the portal before making the payment.
The fees collected by CENTAC will subsequently be transferred to the concerned colleges.
Puducherry candidates belonging to SC/ST categories who have been allotted seats under the Government Quota are not required to make the fee payment themselves.
The applicable fee for such candidates will be paid by the Ad Welfare Department.

Candidates allotted an MDS seat in Round 1 should complete the admission process within the prescribed timeline.
They must report to the allotted college with their original certificates and allotment order and complete all admission formalities.
Candidates should not wait until the final day to report, as admission is subject to document verification and completion of the required formalities.
CENTAC has also informed candidates about the allotment through SMS.
