The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Puducherry, has issued Corrigendum Ref. No. CENTAC/UG-NEET/2026/16 dated September 11, 2026, regarding the deadline for Round 2 payment of registration fee and withdrawal of Round 1 admitted seats for UG NEET-based medical courses.

The corrigendum revises the deadline mentioned in the press notice issued on September 10, 2026.

CENTAC UG NEET Round 2 Deadline Revised

According to the corrigendum, candidates participating in UG NEET-based medical counselling must complete the applicable Round 2 process by:

Revised Deadline: September 11, 2026, up to 3:00 PM

The earlier deadline mentioned in the September 10 press notice was September 12, 2026, at 3:00 PM. CENTAC has now clarified that the correct deadline is September 11, 2026, at 3:00 PM.

Round 1 Admitted Candidates Can Withdraw Seat

Candidates who have been admitted to a seat during Round 1 and wish to resign or withdraw from their admitted seat must submit the required resignation/withdrawal request within the revised deadline.

Candidates participating in Round 2 should carefully check their counselling status and complete the applicable payment or withdrawal process before the deadline.

No Further Extension

CENTAC has clearly stated that no further request for extension of time will be entertained.

Candidates should therefore not wait until the last few minutes and should complete the required process well before 3:00 PM on September 11, 2026.
