The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Puducherry, has published the Round 2 Draft Allotment List for UG NEET-based professional courses for the academic session 2026-27.

The draft allotment covers MBBS, BDS, BAMS and B.V.Sc & A.H. seats under Government, Management, Management–Telugu Minority, NRI and Management/Self-Supporting quotas, as applicable.

According to the notice dated September 12, 2026, a total of 1,279 seats are available across the listed categories, of which 1,017 seats have been allotted in Round 2.

The course-wise and category-wise seat position is as follows:

Seats Withheld or Reserved Due to Court Cases

CENTAC has specified that certain MBBS Government Quota seats are subject to ongoing court proceedings.

• 5 seats have been withheld pending the outcome of W.A. No. 2674 of 2026 before the Hon’ble Madras High Court.
• 1 seat has been reserved pending the outcome of W.P. No. 36623 of 2026 before the Hon’ble Madras High Court.

Candidates Can Check Allotment Through Dashboard

Candidates can check their Round 2 draft allotment status by logging in using their CENTAC Dashboard credentials.

Candidates should carefully verify their allotted course, category and other relevant details.

If a candidate finds any discrepancy in the draft allotment, an objection can be submitted through the GRIEVANCES option available in the Login Dashboard.

Time: Up to 11:00 AM

Candidates should submit genuine objections within the prescribed deadline.

Draft Allotment List Is Indicative

CENTAC has clarified that the Round 2 Draft Allotment List is only indicative in nature and is subject to change.

Candidates cannot claim any right over a seat on the basis of the draft allotment list. The draft allotment list also cannot be challenged before a Court of Law.

After considering and disposing of objections, if any, CENTAC will publish the Round 2 Provisional Allotment List.

Candidates Should Not Approach Colleges Yet

Candidates allotted seats in the draft list are advised not to approach the allotted college or institute at this stage.

They should approach the allotted institution only after the Provisional Allotment List is published and after downloading the Provisional Allotment Order from the Login Dashboard.

JIPMER Candidates Removed From CENTAC Draft List

CENTAC has also clarified that candidates who were allotted seats at JIPMER under the “Internal-Puducherry U.T. Domicile” category through the MCC Provisional NEET-UG Counselling 2026 Round 2 and did not furnish willingness to participate in CENTAC counselling have been removed from the CENTAC Round 2 Draft Allotment List.Candidates should therefore check their dashboard for their latest counselling status.
