According to the released seat matrix, MBBS seats in government medical colleges have been divided into All India Quota (AIQ), Central Pool and State Quota.For instance, Pt. JNM Medical College, Raipur has a total of 250 MBBS seats. Of these, 37 seats are under the AIQ (15%), 7 seats are under the Central Pool (3%), and 206 seats are available under the State Quota.

Similarly, Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS), Bilaspur has 150 MBBS seats, including 22 AIQ seats, 4 Central Pool seats and 124 State Quota seats.

The seat matrix also provides the category-wise distribution of State Quota seats under UR, ST, ST Special, SC, OBC and EWS categories.

Private Medical College Seat Distribution

For private medical colleges, seats have been divided into State Quota, Management Quota and NRI Quota.

For example, Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhilai has a total of 250 MBBS seats, including 107 State Quota seats, 106 Management Quota seats and 37 NRI Quota seats.

The seat matrix also includes the quota-wise and category-wise seat details for other private medical colleges, including Raipur Institute of Medical Science, Raipur and Shri Balaji Institute of Medical Science, Raipur.

BDS Seat Matrix Released

The BDS seat matrix has also been released along with the MBBS seat details. It includes Government Dental College, Raipur, as well as several private dental colleges in Chhattisgarh.

Several private dental colleges have 100 BDS seats, divided into 50 State Quota and 50 Management Quota seats. The category-wise distribution includes seats for UR, ST, ST Special, SC and OBC candidates.

Category-Wise Reservation Details

The CG NEET UG 2026 seat matrix provides the reservation details for different categories under the State Quota. The matrix mentions 30% reservation for ST, 12% for SC, 14% for OBC and 10% for EWS, along with a 2% provision for ST Special.

The seat matrix also provides calculations for applicable horizontal reservations, including Female, Persons with Disabilities (PH), Freedom Fighter (FF) and Sainik categories.
