The Directorate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh has issued a notice dated September 13, 2026, inviting claims and objections against the First Merit List prepared for the government service posting of MBBS graduates who completed their course from Government Medical Colleges of Chhattisgarh in 2026.
The notice follows the earlier registration process conducted from September 7 to September 12, 2026, for bonded MBBS students eligible for government service posting. The first merit list is being published on the official DME Chhattisgarh website www.cgdme.in.
The first merit list has been prepared after completion of the online registration process for MBBS graduates bound for government service.
Candidates whose names/details appear in the merit list should carefully verify their information and merit position.
The notice also states that candidates who did not complete online registration within the prescribed period have been included at the end of the list based on the information available, so that necessary action can be taken in the subsequent process.
Candidates who have any claim or objection regarding the first merit list can submit their representation along with the required documents.

Candidates who find an error or discrepancy in the first merit list can submit their claim or objection through email.
The objection must be sent between 11:00 AM on September 14, 2026 and 5:00 PM on September 15, 2026.
Candidates must attach the necessary supporting documents, including relevant original document copies such as the marksheet, wherever applicable.
Claims or objections submitted without the required supporting documents may not be considered.
After considering and resolving the claims and objections received within the prescribed period, the final merit list will be issued separately.
Candidates should therefore carefully check the first merit list and submit any genuine correction or objection within the specified deadline.
The notice clearly states that claims or objections received after the prescribed time period will not be considered.
Before publication of the first merit list, DME Chhattisgarh had invited online registration for 2026 MBBS graduates from Government Medical Colleges of Chhattisgarh who are bound for government service.
The registration window was open from September 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM to September 12, 2026, at 11:59 PM.The first merit list has now been released following completion of that process.
