The Office of the Commissioner of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh has released an online application notice for admission to Postgraduate Dental (MDS) courses under the State Quota for the 2026 admission session. The notice was issued on August 21, 2026.

The counselling process will be conducted for candidates who have been declared eligible through NEET MDS 2026, conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). Eligible candidates must complete online registration and choice filling within the prescribed schedule.

According to the official schedule, the online application process will begin on August 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM (Server Time). Candidates will be able to submit their applications until August 29, 2026, at 11:59 PM (Server Time).

The online application fee is Rs. 2,000. Candidates can pay the fee through the available online payment gateway using options such as debit card, credit card and other available online payment modes.

Choice Filling and Locking

Along with online registration, candidates will be required to participate in the choice filling and choice locking process. Choice filling will begin on August 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM and will remain available until August 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

Candidates should carefully select their preferred institutions and MDS subjects/courses before locking their choices.

The counselling process, including registration, fee payment, institution and subject selection and choice locking, has to be completed by the candidates themselves. The notice states that candidates will be responsible for any consequences arising from incomplete or incorrect information submitted during the counselling process.

Application Fee and Payment

The Chhattisgarh NEET MDS 2026 online application fee is Rs. 2,000.

Candidates are advised to complete the fee payment sufficiently before the deadline because online banking/payment gateway transactions may sometimes take additional time to process.

The notice advises candidates to complete payment at least 30 minutes before the application deadline to avoid last-minute payment-related problems.

Candidates Can Make Changes After Locking

Candidates who have completed and locked their online application but later want to make changes can use the modification facility available up to the last date of online application submission, as specified in the notice.

Candidates should carefully verify all information before final submission and ensure that their application is complete.
