The Directorate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh has issued an important notice regarding the NEET UG Admission 2026 State-Level Counselling. As per the notice, the MBBS intake capacity has been increased at two medical colleges in Chhattisgarh, and the revised seat matrix will now be applicable to the upcoming counselling process.
The revised seat matrix has been included based on Letters of Permission (LOPs) issued by the National Medical Commission (NMC), appellate orders of the NMC and records/documents made available by the concerned medical colleges.
According to the notice, the MBBS admission capacity has been increased at the following institutions:

The Directorate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh has clarified that the revised seat matrix of the two medical colleges will be incorporated into the Chhattisgarh NEET UG 2026 State Counselling.
All candidates participating in the state-level counselling have been advised to take note of the revised intake and the updated seat matrix.
The notice further states that all upcoming counselling activities relating to these medical colleges will be conducted as per the revised seat matrix.
