The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh has released the tentative schedule for State Quota NEET UG 2026 Round 1 counselling for admission to MBBS and BDS courses.

As per the schedule, the online registration and fee payment process will begin on August 9, 2026. Eligible candidates will also be able to fill and lock their preferred choices during the counselling window.

Registration and Choice Filling From August 9

Candidates eligible for Chhattisgarh State Quota NEET UG Counselling 2026 can complete their online registration and fee payment from August 9 to August 16, 2026.

The choice filling and locking facility will remain available from August 9 to August 17, 2026. Candidates should carefully select their preferred MBBS and BDS colleges and arrange their choices according to their admission preferences.

Merit List and Seat Allotment

The Chhattisgarh NEET UG 2026 Round 1 merit list and NRI eligible list will be published on August 18, 2026.

The seat allotment process will be conducted on August 19, followed by the publication of the Round 1 seat allotment result on August 20, 2026.

Candidates who are allotted seats will then have to complete the prescribed scrutiny and admission process at the allotted institute.

Institute Scrutiny and Admission

According to the tentative schedule, the document scrutiny process at institutes will be conducted from August 21 to August 27, 2026, up to 3:00 PM.The admission process at the allotted institute will also be conducted during the same period, with the deadline set at 5:00 PM on August 27, 2026.
