The Office of the Commissioner, Medical Education, Chhattisgarh has issued an important notice regarding seat resignation and withdrawal for candidates admitted through the first and second rounds of Chhattisgarh State NEET UG Counselling 2026.

According to the notice dated October 1, 2026, candidates who have secured admission through the state counselling process but now wish to cancel or surrender their MBBS or BDS seat can use the Seat Resign Portal/Seat Withdrawal Portal within the prescribed schedule.

The Seat Resign Portal/Seat Withdrawal Portal will remain available from October 1 to October 6, 2026.

Who Can Resign or Withdraw Their Seat?

The facility is available to candidates who were admitted through the first or second phase of Chhattisgarh State NEET UG Counselling 2026 and now wish to cancel or surrender the admission obtained through state counselling.

Candidates who decide to leave their allotted MBBS or BDS seat should complete the prescribed resignation or withdrawal procedure within the notified period.

Candidates Must Report to the Admitted Institution

Candidates wishing to surrender their seat cannot complete the process only by waiting for the portal deadline.

As per the notice, candidates must personally appear at their admitted institution and complete the required admission cancellation or seat surrender procedure during the prescribed period.

Candidates should ensure that all necessary formalities are completed within the notified timeline.

Seat Withdrawal Window

The seat resignation/withdrawal facility will be available during the following period:

Start: October 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM
End: October 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM

Both timings are specified as Server Time in the official notice.

Candidates who wish to surrender their admission should complete the process well before the closing time.
