Dr. N.T.R. University of Health Sciences (Dr. NTRUHS), Vijayawada, has issued a notification for new registrations for admission to MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2026-27.
The notification is applicable to candidates who could not register earlier for admission under the specified categories. Eligible candidates can now register online by paying the prescribed registration fee along with the applicable late fee and uploading the required documents.
The notification is issued in continuation of the university's earlier notifications dated September 1, 2026 and September 13, 2026.
The new registration facility is available for admissions under the following categories:
According to the notification, the online application forms will be available for a limited period.
The registration window will open at 5:00 PM on September 30, 2026 and will remain available until 12:00 Noon on October 1, 2026.
Candidates who could not complete registration during the earlier application period can use this window to submit their applications, subject to the applicable eligibility and admission rules.
Candidates registering during the extended/new registration window will have to pay a total registration fee of INR 31,000.

Eligible candidates who could not register earlier should complete the online registration and document upload within the prescribed deadline.
Dr NTRUHS has specified the scanned original certificates and documents that candidates are required to upload during registration.

The university has stated that the Grade Certificate will not be accepted in place of the qualifying examination certificate.
Candidates applying under the NRI Category are required to upload the applicable NRI documents as a single scanned PDF file.
For an actual NRI candidate or foreign student, the documents include the candidate's passport, NRI status certificate of the financial supporter issued by the embassy of the respective country, where applicable, and an AIU equivalence certificate for foreign students who completed the qualifying examination outside the Indian education system.
For applicable OCI/PIO candidates, the relevant OCI/PIO Card is required.
For children or blood relatives of NRI candidates, the required documents include a Declaration of the Blood Relative, Family Tree Certificate showing the relationship, NRE/NRO bank account passbook of the financial supporter and passport copy of the NRI financer.

Candidates applying under the NRI Lapsed Category are required to upload a Notarised Affidavit of Parental Financial Status, duly signed by the parent and candidate, in the prescribed format.
The affidavit covers the parent's income, sources of funds and financial capacity to meet the prescribed fees and other expenses for the medical or dental course.
Dr NTRUHS has stated that the university will conduct verification of the basic scanned documents uploaded by candidates.
However, the Principal of the concerned college will be competent to verify the original certificates and documents for all categories, including NRI candidates, at the time of joining.
If any discrepancy is found during document verification, the admission of the candidate will be deemed to be cancelled.
Candidates should therefore ensure that all uploaded documents are genuine, valid and consistent with the information submitted in the application.
The notification also provides a Joint Undertaking in the form of an affidavit to be submitted by candidates and their parent/guardian at the time of joining.
The undertaking requires the candidate and parent/guardian to declare that the certificates and documents submitted for admission, including NRI documents where applicable, are genuine.
The undertaking also states that if any submitted certificate is subsequently found to be not genuine, the admission may be cancelled and the candidate may be liable for criminal prosecution as legally applicable.
