The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC), Government of Gujarat, has released an advertisement regarding the cancellation of First Round admissions at Help Centers and online registration for the Second Round of counselling for undergraduate Ayurved and Homoeopathy courses for the academic year 2026-27.

The counselling process is applicable to eligible candidates seeking admission to undergraduate Ayurved and Homoeopathy courses in Government and Self-financed Colleges of Gujarat. Candidates must have passed Class 12 Science with B/AB Group from schools in Gujarat affiliated with the Gujarat Board, Central Board, Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), Cambridge University or National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). Candidates must also be eligible as per their NEET-UG 2026 All India Overall Rank and fulfil the eligibility requirements prescribed by the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Gujarat, and the respective regulatory commissions or councils.

According to the official schedule, First Round admission cancellation at the Help Center will be conducted from October 1 to October 3, 2026, up to 12:00 noon.

The process for the Second Round will begin with online PIN purchase from October 1 to October 2, 2026, up to 4:00 PM. Candidates can complete online registration from October 1 to October 2, 2026, up to 5:00 PM.

After completing online registration, candidates must undergo document verification and submit self-attested photocopies of the required documents at the Help Center on October 3, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 12:00 noon.

For online registration, candidates have to purchase the PIN by paying INR 1,000 as a non-refundable fee and INR 10,000 as a refundable security deposit, making the total amount INR 11,000.

Candidates must take a prior appointment for document verification and submission of documents at the Help Center. Candidates can select the date and Help Center of their choice while printing the Registration Slip.

The Help Centers will generally remain open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, while Saturday working hours will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Help Centers will remain closed on Sundays and public holidays.

NRI Candidates

The admission committee has issued separate instructions for NRI candidates. After completing the online application, NRI candidates have to submit a Demand Draft of INR 10,000 in favour of “ACPUGMEC”, payable at Gandhinagar, as the processing fee. The Demand Draft has to be submitted at the office of ACPUGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar.

The committee has also clarified that candidates who purchased the INR 11,000 online PIN during Round 1 but did not complete online registration, document verification or submission of photocopies at the Help Center do not need to purchase the online PIN again. Such candidates only need to complete document verification and submit the required photocopies at the Help Center.

Candidates who have completed the required registration formalities should carefully follow the Second Round schedule and ensure that all documents are submitted within the specified timeline.
