The Admission Committee for Professional Post-Graduate Medical Education Courses (ACPPGMEC), Government of Gujarat has invited applications for admission to first-year MDS courses for the academic year 2026-27.

The Round 2 registration process is open to eligible candidates seeking admission against Government, Management and NRI seats in Government and Self-Financed Dental Colleges of Gujarat.

Candidates who have qualified NEET-PG (MDS)-2026 and fulfil the prescribed eligibility and qualification requirements can participate in the second round of counselling.

Gujarat MDS Counselling 2026 Round 2: Important Dates

Candidates should complete the online registration within the prescribed deadline and subsequently complete document verification at the selected Help Center.

Registration Fee and Security Deposit

For Round 2 online registration, candidates are required to purchase the Online PIN through the official admission website.

The payment structure is:

• Registration Fee: INR 3,000 — Non-refundable
• Security Deposit: INR 25,000 — Refundable
• Total Amount: INR 28,000

Candidates should ensure that the payment is completed within the prescribed PIN purchase deadline.

Document Verification on September 18

After completing online registration, candidates must visit the selected Help Center for document verification and submission of photocopies of the required documents.

The verification process will be conducted on:

Time: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Candidates must take a prior appointment for document verification and submission of documents at the Help Center.

The candidate can select the date, time and Help Center while printing the Registration Slip.

Candidates should carry the required certificates, documents and Registration Slip when appearing for verification.

Important Update for Round 1 PIN Holders

Candidates who purchased the INR 28,000 Online PIN during Round 1 but did not complete online registration, document verification or submission of photocopies at the Help Center do not need to purchase the PIN again.

Such candidates can proceed with the required document verification and submission of photocopies at the Help Center as prescribed by the admission committee.

Special Instructions for NRI Candidates

Separate instructions have been issued for NRI candidates.

After completing the online application, NRI candidates must submit a Demand Draft of INR 25,000 as a non-refundable processing fee in favour of:

“ACPUGMEC”, payable at Gandhinagar.

The Demand Draft and document verification must be submitted only at the Office of ACPUGMEC & ACPPGMEC, GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar.

Therefore, NRI candidates should not visit other Help Centers for this verification process.

Help Center Appointment Mandatory

Candidates completing the registration process must visit the Help Center with their required certificates and Registration Slip.

The admission committee has advised candidates to take a prior appointment before visiting the Help Center.

Help Centers will remain closed on Sundays and Government Holidays.

Candidates requiring assistance with registration or the admission process can visit a nearby Help Center. The list of Help Centers is available on the official admission committee website.

Who Can Apply for Gujarat MDS Round 2?

The second-round registration facility is available to candidates who:

• Have qualified NEET-PG (MDS)-2026.
• Meet the eligibility requirements prescribed by the respective Council.
• Fulfil the admission rules applicable in Gujarat.
• Seek admission to first-year MDS courses against Government, Management or NRI seats.
• Are eligible for admission in Government or Self-Financed Dental Colleges covered by ACPPGMEC.
