The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Education Courses (ACPUGMEC), Government of Gujarat has released the schedule for Second Round Online Choice Filling for admission to MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2026-27.

The Round 2 counselling process will be conducted for eligible candidates included in the ACPUGMEC merit list seeking admission against Government Seats, Management Seats and NRI Seats in Government and Self-Financed Medical and Dental Colleges in Gujarat.

The official ACPUGMEC website has also listed the Round 2 Online Choice Filling Information, including the advertisement, choice-filling guidelines and participation process.

Gujarat NEET UG Round 2 Choice Filling 2026: Important Dates

Candidates should complete their choice filling within the prescribed schedule and carefully review the preferences before the deadline.

Who Can Participate in Round 2?

The Round 2 choice-filling facility is available for eligible candidates included in the ACPUGMEC merit list for admission to MBBS and BDS courses.

The counselling covers seats under:

• Government Quota
• Management Quota
• NRI Quota

The seats are available in Government and Self-Financed Medical and Dental Colleges in Gujarat, as applicable.

Gujarat MBBS BDS Round 2 Choice Filling

Candidates participating in the second round should carefully arrange their preferred colleges and courses in the online choice form.

The official ACPUGMEC portal provides separate guidelines and instructions for Round 2 choice filling. Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully before submitting their preferences.

The admission process for Gujarat's undergraduate medical and dental colleges is conducted online and on the basis of merit through ACPUGMEC.

Candidates Must Check Choices After Submission

ACPUGMEC will display the choices filled by candidates on September 11, 2026, up to 12:00 Noon.

Candidates should carefully check the displayed choices and follow any further instructions issued by the admission committee.

Candidates are advised to regularly monitor the official website for the subsequent Round 2 seat allotment and admission schedule.

Important Document Verification Instruction

For the second round onwards, ACPUGMEC has separately informed candidates that document verification at the Help Centre will be conducted against original documents.

Candidates must carry their original certificates/documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies. DigiLocker documents and colour photocopies/printouts alone will not be accepted for verification.

Newly Added MBBS Seats in Gujarat

The ACPUGMEC website has also reported that the National Medical Commission (NMC) approved an increase of 50 MBBS seats at Ananya College of Medicine & Research, Kalol, Gandhinagar. The college's intake has increased from 150 to 200 seats, with 38 Government Quota, 5 Management Quota and 7 NRI Quota seats listed in the updated intake information. These additional seats are to be included in the second-round admission process.

Candidates participating in Gujarat NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2 should:

2. Read the Round 2 choice-filling guidelines.
3. Check their eligibility and merit status.
4. Fill college and course preferences from September 7, 2026.
5. Submit choices before 11:00 AM on September 11, 2026.
