Eligible candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 will be able to participate in the state counselling process through the designated Haryana UG counselling portal. The detailed schedule, including registration, document verification, merit list publication, choice filling and seat allotment, is expected to be announced by the counselling authority.
The counselling process is expected to include the following stages:
| Counselling Stage | Details |

After registration and the publication of the state merit list, eligible candidates will be required to participate in choice filling and locking. Candidates can select their preferred medical and dental colleges based on their eligibility and available options.
The choices submitted during the counselling process will be considered for seat allotment. Candidates should therefore arrange their preferences carefully before locking them.
The counselling process is expected to be conducted through multiple rounds. These may include Round 1, Round 2, Round 3/Mop-Up and Stray Vacancy Round, depending on the final counselling schedule issued by the authorities.
Seat allotment will be based on factors such as the candidate's NEET UG rank, choices filled, category, applicable reservation criteria and availability of seats.
Candidates who are allotted seats will have to complete the required fee payment, document verification and reporting formalities within the prescribed timeline.
Since the Haryana NEET UG 2026 registration is expected to begin around August 13, candidates should regularly check the official counselling portal for the notification and detailed schedule.
